Grace ( formerly known as "Britannia")
PZ 8: Is a 38' Mevagissey lugger commissioned by Jimmy Pearce and built by Henry Roberts in 1903. She is Dandy rigged with an extensive sail inventory fitted by Mike Barker of Gillingham in Kent who used to be in Porthleven.
John Nelligan became the owner of Britannia in July 2003 when he brought her round to Mounts Bay and she is presently moored in Penzance wet dock. John renamed her "Grace" in 2004 after his mother.
The first pictures are in 1998 at Ipswich and sailing in the Swale then at the Looe Lugger Regatta and finally moored against Ocean Pride in Penzance.
