Falmouth Classics - National Maritime Museum - Falmouth Tall Ships

Sails are often held in the Helford River and Falmouth area by the Mounts Bay lugger the Happy Return and here we have selection of photographs of some of these events.

2004 Falmouth Sailing Regatta

The Happy Return took part in the Falmouth Classics, her first race and she came second to Reliance during a "two mizzen blow".

Natonal Maritime Museum in Falmouth 2004

The Happy Return was first based alongside as a guest exhibit from the 6th - 12th August in the 2004 Sailing Regatta Week and is now a regular exhibit during the summer months.

She moored alongside Robin Knox-Johnson's teak-hulled ketch Suhaili.
