Sails and Rigging

A selection of photographs from SKB Sails of Penryn taken in 2002 during the manufacture of the sails for the Happy Return.

They are of hand sewn Clipper Canvas with hand sewn bolt ropes and cringles all done in the traditional manner.

The Fore Lug is 705 sq. ft. in area, the 1st Mizzen 418 sq. ft. and the 2nd Mizzen 247 sq. ft. The sail plan is below:-
