Members meetings and sailing details 

Work Sessions. Weather permitting, work sessions will take place on Happy Return from about 11am on Saturdays throughout the winter and when not sailing during the season. Confirm the arrangements with one of the skippers. 

Weekly meetings: 

Members are invited to meet aboard "Happy Return" at about 19.00 - 19.30 hours on Tuesday evenings throughout the year when there isn't a sailing event to chat luggers and boats. 

On Saturdays we meet on the Happy Return at about ten in the morning throughout the year when the Happy Return isn't sailing - there are always loads of jobs to be done, please come along to that too, even just to clean-up, make the tea or do a bit of painting.

Sailings: 

During these two meets any possible sailings could be arranged in season and they will be totally dependent on many variables so if you are interested in sailing the "Happy Return" then please come to these meetings.

Crew training sessions will be carried out at pre-arranged times.

There will be a cost element for each sail and this will be determined beforehand according to the expenditure involved for each individual event - see the Sailing Programme for details

The maximum possible crew is 12 and the normal minimum is 6 or 7.

Lifejackets have to be worn during all sailings.

Newsletters: 

We issue occasional Newsletters with as much information about future events as is possible, but remember that these events will always be according to conditions and situations prevailing at the time. 

We depend on articles from our members to keep this Newsletter going!

All details of events will be posted on the web site and it will be kept as up to date as possible.

For members only, we have now introduced very fetching black tee and polo shirts with the association logo. Our Chairman and Treasurer are seen here wearing them. We are looking for a volunteer to help market the shirts but for the meantime they are available from:
